Gypsy Rose Scavenger Hunt Win

I had a few minutes left and my scanner was still on so I thought I'd scan what I won from Gypsy Rose Paperie a few weeks ago. If you don't know what they are all about, stop by and take a look. They are starting to put together kits...not your average card or page kit, these are unique. They have cool vintage items and popular "in" items. They are just starting up and are taking pre-orders. They are limited due to the unique quality of the kit contents so don't dally. I know you won't be disappointed!!

Belated Blog-versary & Candy!!

Happy 'versary to me, Happy 'versary to me, Happy 'veeeerrrssaaarrrreeeee to meeeeeee, Happy 'versary to me!!! Country Frog Creations is ONE YEAR OLD!! (as of September 4th that is)

Who woulda thunk that I'd still be here after a year...actually posting my life happenings and my creations. I have come a long way, I think. Style changes, blog changes, friend changes, and reading ever-so-many blogs (in other words stalking)! I've met so many new people, and I love all your work, and would never have thought I'd have friends that are clear across country.

Who woulda thunk that anyone (other than my close friends) would even read MY blog?? I figure that someone would stumble across it eventually, or blog hop like I do, but over 5,000 hits - I am speachless!

To show my appreciation, and being so thrilled you have stopped by at one point or another to read my life happenings, or to give me a kind complement on a project I had posted, or to lend a bit of life support, I'M GIVING AWAY CANDY!!! No, not the stuff you eat.....the good stuff......the craft stuff!!

This will be a cool collection mixed bag of sorts from vintage to what's "happenin' now". I will post a picture of the goodies as soon as I put it together...hopefully tomorrow after dinner. (no sports so I'll be at home - yah!)

Blog "Stalking" Winner!

All I have to say is WOW!! I guess I've been "Blog Stalking" more frequently lately, and as a result I have found several cool Swap sites, as well as some GREAT GIVEAWAYS!! I have even run into some old crop buddies along the way. You never know who belongs to a group or who is lurking behind that computer screen - such a small world!

I found this site Gypsy Rose Paperie. They are a new site who is going to offer kits which will include vintage pieces, new pieces, just neat stuff. The next few weeks, on Mondays, they will be offering a "tease" kit giveaway. Check out their site and follow their directions - drawing is on Wednesdays until their release. I won this from them last week...

I guess all in all, I'm trying to find my "niche" - where do I belong? Do I belong in the contemporary, new stamp company scene, Stampin' Up! stuff, or the vintage, whimsical set?? I guess I'm trying both at the moment, and maybe I might find that I am truely best in the middle of the road. I have a hard time deciding because I like doing a variety. Hmmm, I guess for only being in the "Blog World" for almost a year, I've got to give myself a little more time. Stay tuned to see what I come up with next!

5,000 hits and my blogaversary is right around the corner so I think I'll have to give some candy away.

In closing (FIN-AL-LEEEE! I think I'm taking after Joyce here! *wink*)I wanted to share this photo I took today when I was cleaning out our sunroom....I looked up that here it was....a baby deer in the Suburbs! I always treasure these moments....

Tag - Your it! Please Reply!!

Ok, finally! After what almost 2 months, I have finally completed my Tag-Your it! project I won from Michelle Wooderson (Mish Mash) here. I had to make 4 cards with the tags she sent me....and here they are.... Then I made 4 more sets of cards and tags. It was a hard because I don't have that many small stamps to use so I pulled out my Studio G stamps and WHALA......

These two are going to Shauna and Jamie. I know one of you responded to Michelle's blog. I did my detective work to find your addresses and they should arrive by next week.

This one I'm going to send to someone I know has boys - a surprise of course! and last but not least - REPLY TO THIS BLOG - I will pick a name Saturday and I will send you this set to continue the "Tag-your it!" idea..

I WON! I'M IT!!

I can't believe it!! I won!!! My daily blog read - Mish Mash's Michelle Wooderson, posted a neat way to keep up the giving spirit with a game of "Tag-Your it!" I loved the idea, so I posted a comment and I WON!!

She will snail-mail me the package, I will make 4 cards with the tags she sends, make 4 more tags and cards (not necessarily the same stamps 'cause I don't own any), and send them to my friends who hopefully will keep up the giving spirit and "tag" someone else.

I hope I can sleep tonight - I'm sooo excited!!!!
