Hot Soup is ready to Party!

This post has been a little late because of "life" so here goes....

THE SOUP HAS ARRIVED!  Rachel sent me this awesome bowl of soup!

BSBP #7

She makes wonderful lampwork beads and sent me one as my focal and sent 2 toggles 'cause she couldn't decide. Can you say - Bonus! I love the sea glass (my fav'e) and other beautiful beads that I don't have in my stash. (sorry I don't know the name of what they are...still learning) I just love these colors together.  I can't wait to get started.

And, the 2nd half of this post is what I sent to Rachel......
A nice selection of brown glass beads, copper findings, ceramic focal and square beads and a copper toggle.  I also added a vintage key and some shell.  I hope she likes this soup....almost reminds me of split pea soup!(LOL)

I didn't know her style before I started gathering the soup together and I didn't change anything even after I looked at her blog.  Lori wanted recipients to think outside the box - create jewelry with things we normally don't use in our pieces.  This is an awesome experience so far and there is one month to go.

Both Racel and I chose our reveal on 3/31, so you will have to stop back  in a month to see what we have done!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Ciao Friends!
Bev

This sounds like a fun swap. I love the beads you received...I love sea glass too. I have resisted getting into any kind of jewelry making but it is tempting . I will watch to see what you create. Thanks for visiting me last week. It was nice to hear from you Bev.
